Check out the expanded Talent and Insights Platform

Building on ICTC’s strength as a center of expertise in technology and labour market intelligence, policy elaboration, and talent programs for the past 25 years, ICTC is excited today to launch a key update to its keystone product e-Talent Canada to bring talent to Canadian companies faster.

ICTC continues to lead the way in ensuring Canada meets the growing demand for ICT and digitally skilled talent. ICTC’s outlook report asserts that by 2021, 216,000 critical digital talent positions will need to be filled. Today, ICTC launches the global talent job portal and a new Information Technology Professional (ITP) designation for internationally educated ICT professionals (IEPs) on eTalent Canada.

The job portal will help ICT IEPs connect to the Canadian job market and employers connect to IEPs. And, launching first with ICT IEPs, the ITP Designation will provide an avenue for ICT IEPs to incorporate  their educational evaluation, ICT industry involvement, language level, work experience, professional memberships, volunteer work and certifications for validation and ultimately will provide eligible ICT professionals with an ITP designation certificate.

These services and features are brought to you by ICTC’s GO Talent initiative, which provides pre-arrival employment connections for employers in Canada with internationally educated ICT professionals currently immigrating to Canada.

Expanded Platform for ICT Professionals

The e-Talent Canada platform with the new job portal provides ICT professionals immigrating to Canada with access to labour market insights, a job board and the ability to create an account and apply to open ICT positions anywhere in Canada.

Improved Services for Employers

The e-Talent Job Portal allows employers to create an account, post an unlimited number of ICT jobs anywhere in Canada, and search for qualified ICT professionals in our database.

This service is free for both employers and ICT professionals immigrating to Canada. This unique tool and new amalgamation will assist employers in finding the right talent to expand business and maintain a competitive advantage, and will be an invaluable source for those seeking new employment opportunities.
